Maundy Thursday Communion Service – 6:30 PM Thursday, March 29th, at church.  On Maundy Thursday, we remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples the night before He was crucified.  You can read about the events of Maundy Thursday in Matthew 26:17-75, Mark 14:12-72, Luke 22:1-62 and John 13:1-18:27.

Community Good Friday Service – Noon Friday, March 30th, at Memorial Baptist.  On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ crucifixion.  You can read about the events of Good Friday in Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 22:66-23:56 and John 18:29-19:24.

Easter Potluck Breakfast – 9:00 AM Sunday, April 1st.  Sign up on the bulletin board to bring something to share.  On Easter Sunday, we celebrate Jesus‘ resurrection.  You can read about the events of Easter in Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24 and John 20.

Worship – 10:00 AM every Sunday in the sanctuary.  On April 1st, we will celebrate Communion and an offering will be taken for New Beginnings Pregnancy Care Center, which provides shelter, mentoring and other resources to women experiencing a crisis pregnancy.

Election Day – Tuesday, April 3rd.  We encourage you to cast your vote in this spring election.  Often these local and state elections get overlooked, with low voter turnout, yet they are very important.  To find out what is on your ballot, go to www.myvote.wi.gov.

Hannah Circle – 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 4th, at church.  Rose Helmer will host.

Loaves & Fishes – Wednesday, April 4th, at Church of Peace (158 South Military Road).  Sign up on the bulletin board if you would like to provide a pan of lasagna or help serve the meal.  Pans are available in the upstairs kitchen.  Fully cooked, cold lasagnas may be dropped off at Church of Peace by 4:30 PM.  Set up begins at 4:00.  We begin serving take-out at 5:00 and sit-down guests at 5:30.  Clean up begins at 6:00.

Choir Practice – 6:30 PM Wednesday, April 4th and 18th, at church.

Feed My Starving Children MobilePack – Saturday, April 7th, at the Fairgrounds Rec Center.  Take a heart from the display in the entryway if you would like to financially support the event.

Men’s Breakfast – 8:30 AM Saturday, April 7th, at church.  RSVP to Tom Bonde or Mike Turk.

Stone Soup – 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM every Saturday.  Volunteers meet at the church at 11:00 for preparation, then set up in the library parking lot (or, depending on weather, a library meeting room) at noon to share a meal with anyone who is hungry, lonely, or just happens to be walking by.  Sign up on the bulletin board in the entryway or talk to Kathy Bonde, Gabrielle Hastings or Tony Penton if you would like to volunteer.

Women and Girls Spring Tea – 1:30 PM Saturday, April 7th, at church.  Please sign up in the entryway.

Sunday School – 9:00 AM every Sunday except April 1st.  We have classes for all ages!

Kids’ Table Breakfast – 8:45 AM Sunday, April 15th, at Oasis Restaurant (339 North Main Street).  Invite a friend!

Yarnians – 9:00-11:00 AM Saturday, April 21st.  Knitters and crocheters of all ages and skill levels are invited for a morning of fellowship and food.  Bring your own project to work on or make hats, scarves and mittens for people in need.  Donated yarn is available in the fellowship hall closet.  Invite a friend!

Diaconate Soup Dinner – 6:00 PM Sunday, April 22nd, at church.  This meal is for everyone on Kathy Bonde’s shepherding list; other deacons will host meals throughout the year.

“Lamplighter” Deadline – Monday, April 23rd.  Please keep articles to 300 words or less.

Leadership Meal – 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 25th, at church.  All church officers, ministry team leaders, small group facilitators, and people leading in other ministries inside and outside the church are invited to come celebrate and collaborate around the table.  The meal will be provided; there is no need to bring anything.  We will share where we are seeing and experiencing God at work, talk about ways the church can support and encourage these ministries, and identify opportunities and challenges that we need to address together.  Please RSVP to Pastor Brian by April 18th.
